Introducing our Model of the Year, Grace Elizabeth! GET TO KNOW THE CAMPAIGN QUEEN AND CATWALK

How have you found this summer?
It was crazy because everyone was working nonstop, and I was living in a different state every day for almost two weeks. After taking a break with a staycation in New York, we headed to the Upstate and the Hamptons to spend some time in more natural settings. We’ve been in Florida as well, and we’re currently hopping around in Europe.

Do you now get a little period of vacation time, then?
Yes, thank God, I do. It’s been about two weeks for me.

What are your plans for Fashion Month?

It seems like we see you everywhere you go all year long!
What a lot! It seems like every season is different because there are so many off-season shows and a steady stream of new collections.

What aspect of being in a show is your favorite?

My friends are all together in one place at this particular moment. After almost a month, it’s good to be able to sit down, have dinner or coffee, catch up, and hang out with friends. I still get excited and enjoy walking shows. After three hours of preparation and build-up, you only spend a minute and a half, if that, on the runway. But it’s a ton of fun and pure adrenaline.

How can you endure the insanity?
Even before I became a mother, I was “the mom.” I’m the person to contact backstage in case of emergency. Snacks, Band-Aids, feminine hygiene products, and other items are always with me. Everything you can think of or require.

CVS is you!
I am CVS, yes! How could I have aged so much?

Which was the first show you ever performed?
Back in 2017, I had an exclusive with Miu Miu. I was frightened to death, being the third girl out. However, it sort of started everything.

We are ecstatic to present you as the Model of the Year. What emotions do you have about it?
How honored I am! I’m 26 years old and have been doing this since I was 16. It’s good to be acknowledged in that way. The hours and sacrifices abound, particularly now that I have a child and the balance isn’t always simple. It therefore means a lot to hear, “You’re doing a good job.” There will also be a few of my friends present! Elizaveta Porodina is also receiving her honor. I can’t wait to see her, congratulate her, offer my support, and hang out with her afterwards. Mine will be there, and she will be bringing her husband. Thus, it resembles a double date!
