I’ve been making music since I was 12 but I’ve always been interested in it. My surroundings have always been saturated with hip hop being influenced by the South Mostly. People like Outkast, Goodie Mob, Dungeon Family were my greatest influences. I love the different sounds though. I couldn’t help but be fixed on the different genres of music, may tastes evolved an I started to add groups like The Gorrilaz, and Daft Punk into the mix. I think my music is a mixture of those 3 genres of music. I grew up pretty much with my head in my headphones. An I couldn’t stop thinking that I wanted to do what the people I listened to did. Make dole music for people to vibe to. I used to freestyle with friends around the lunch table or whenever just hanging out. They would always tell me to take it seriously an put something out for people to listen to.
Ill never forget making music in a friends basement. Hearing my voice spitting lyrics back at me was like hearing a totally different person. I loved it. I Debuted in 2016 with my first project titled Homegrown, followed up with Village Kid in 2018, an latest album titled Village Dreams released September 2021. I’ve opened up for Rick Ross. I’m on Khujo from Goodie Mobs mixtape titled Feed the Lions. I’m also on Redmans Come get it Playlist Mixtape. I’m living my dream in real time. I aim to make a name for myself.
I want to show the world my personality, I am a rapper/artist that focus’s on being more in tuned with my emotions, I feel it’s better to relate to people that way with my music. Everything can be expressed that way. I own a organization called Vicious Village that helps with that. Getting your music or project to the masses is important for a creator. That’s my brand that I stand behind. An ideal that anything can be done when you stick together. I think it’s better to bring people of like mindedness to network socially. So people can also realize their dreams and goes in real time.
